I'm an educator, first and foremost. Whether I'm at school, at home, or out in the world, I love to educate and I love to learn.
I have been teaching for 14+ years of my life, all in the Kansas City, Missouri area. For most of my career I have been teaching middle school English Language Arts. Last year I began teaching Special Education, specifically middle school Math. This year I am teaching Special Education writing and math at the middle school level. I earned my bachelors degree in Middle Level Education from Central Methodist University and have earned my masters degree from Western Governors University in Instructional Design. I'm currently working on my doctorate in Educational Leadership at Baker University
Each day I go home to my two beautiful daughters, ages 11 and 8. They have influenced my life more than I could ever imagine, and I believe that motherhood has made me not just a better person but a better teacher as well.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and learning from others as well.
